01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Italian Fiesta Pizzeria is a beloved pizza restaurant nestled in the heart of Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, offering an authentic taste of classic Chicago-style pizza alongside a well-curated menu of Italian-American favorites. From the moment you step inside at 1919 E 71st St, you’re welcomed by a cozy, no-frills atmosphere that’s perfect for casual dining or grabbing a quick, satisfying meal to-go.

The star of the menu is undeniably their pizza—crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that bring out the rich, comforting flavors Chicagoans crave. Whether you’re a fan of the classic cheese or the robust sausage topping, the pies here hit that perfect balance of a crispy, buttery crust and gooey, melted cheese that dances on your taste buds.

Beyond pizza, Italian Fiesta Pizzeria shines with its pasta offerings that are as hearty as they are flavorful. Their Mostaccioli Pasta, served swimming in a rich, savory meat sauce and accompanied by golden, crispy garlic bread, is a perfect example of home-style Italian cooking that warms you from the inside out. The Homemade Baked Lasagna is a decadent treat—three layers of tender noodles and a blend of three cheeses, all enveloped in savory meat sauce, then baked to bubbling perfection. And for those who crave cheesy, baked pasta, the Baked Mostaccioli offers a delightful gooey experience crowned with melted mozzarella.

Sandwich lovers will find comfort in the Italian Combo Sandwich, a hearty combination of beef and sausage served with a side of rich meat sauce or natural juice to dip. The house-made Italian Meatball and Sausage Sandwiches each deliver bold, homemade flavors seasoned with authentic Italian spices, while the Italian Beef Sandwich is a generous portion of prime cut, tender beef, perfect for a satisfying meal any time of day.

Complementing these main dishes are thoughtful sides like spicy Hot Peppers Giardiniera, crispy Boneless Wings tossed in flavorful Buffalo sauce, and refreshing Coleslaw—ideal for rounding out your meal with a mix of textures and tastes.

The dining experience at Italian Fiesta Pizzeria is enhanced by friendly, attentive service that customers frequently praise. Whether you call ahead or walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and a genuine eagerness to make your meal memorable. Several guests have highlighted the kindness of the staff, from smooth phone orders to accommodating special requests with grace and professionalism.

What makes Italian Fiesta truly stand out is the sense of community and history carried through every slice and sandwich, making it a local legend. Loyal customers rave about how the team handles mistakes with understanding and resolve, reflecting a commitment to customer satisfaction that goes beyond just great food.

If you find yourself craving a slice of Chicago’s best pizza paired with authentic pasta and Italian sandwiches, Italian Fiesta Pizzeria is a spot that should not be missed. It effortlessly blends tradition, flavor, and genuine hospitality to create a dining experience that’s both comforting and satisfying.

The food is not bad, but I suggest calling in your order. I'm assuming this location has a lot of business and you will wait 6 days for your food. I've gone here to pick up door dash and almost retired because of the wait.

Local legend. What really can be said? I placed an Uber eats order with notes that were overlooked by the cooking staff and upon bringing this to the attention of the cashier, the team exchanged my order without any issues. I appreciate that level of service instead of arguing about the error. I've been a customer since a kid and will continue to order for my kids on pizza night. Keep doing your thing IF

Yesterday, I only wanted a can of Pepsi. The customers and staff were very kind to me. I'm in a power wheelchair and was assisted thru doors and without asking, the young lady working the counter brought me the Pepsi, opened it, gave me a straw and napkin. All those acts of kindness ment a lot to me. BTW, they are known to have excellent pizza. :)

South shore location E 71st. No inside dining. Was told 25-30 mns for pie to be ready. Wound up waiting 1 hr 10 mns. So weekend ordering be mindful. Pizza was delicious but too soft. Wasn’t baked all the way in middle and was doughy. Expensive doughy pizza. Delish around the crispy edges. It’s a flat crust so ask for it to cook a bit longer so that it is a bit crispy
